AI virtual receptionist and assistants with human oversight
An AI assistant takes over the repetitive calls, messages and paperwork in one clearly defined role. Each month a MEZA specialist checks its work, improves its scripts and deals with the matters it passed on. It's a service, not employment.

How a role with human oversight works
The AI assistant works in the channels you already use: phone, email, WhatsApp, website chat, your Google Business Profile. Anything that fits the role card it handles straight away, at any hour. Anything outside the card it passes to a person with a summary: who it’s for, what it’s about and what has already been agreed.
Within the package of hours, a MEZA specialist regularly reviews conversations, especially the ones the assistant couldn’t handle or where the customer asked for a person. They improve the scripts, add to what the assistant knows about your business and send a monthly report: how many conversations, how many matters handled without a person, how many passed on and what we changed.
It’s a service, not employment. We don’t supply you with staff. We describe the role and take responsibility for how it runs and for the oversight.
Roles you can hand to the assistant
For each role we describe the scope, the limits and the questions we ask before quoting. Most businesses start with the phone: AI call answering picks up when nobody at the company can and routes each call to the right person. If you mainly want an assistant that answers and books on its own, see our AI voice receptionist service.

The assistant, your team and a MEZA specialist
Every role splits the work three ways. We write it down in the role card before the assistant takes its first call.
- AI assistant: repeat questions, bookings and changes against your calendar, confirmations, draft replies and documents.
- Your team: decisions, exceptions, discounts, complaints and everything that happens on site.
- MEZA specialist: reviews conversations, improves scripts and the knowledge base, handles matters the assistant passed on, writes the monthly report. Works remotely, in a package of 3, 6 or 10 hours a month.
Straight with your customers
The assistant works in your name, so it follows the same rules as your team, plus a few of its own.
- At the start of every conversation it says it's your company's AI assistant.
- If the caller asks, it puts them through to a person or takes a request for a call back.
- It doesn't make sales calls or send offers. It only sends confirmations and reminders about things the customer started.
- Prices, dates and availability come only from your systems, price lists and calendars.
What you pay us and what you pay providers
You pay us for setting up and running the role and, if you choose it, for a specialist's oversight. AI models, call minutes and the phone number sit on your own accounts with the providers, and you pay for them directly at their rates. The quote includes an estimate of those costs.
Rules and data
As of 23 October 2026. The assistant tells everyone it speaks to that it’s an AI system, as Article 50 of the AI Act requires in the EU. We process data under a data processing agreement, in the EU wherever possible, and don’t record audio by default. The assistant doesn’t call or message people with offers unless they’ve agreed to it.
Tell us which role you’d like to hand to the assistant and when it should work. You’ll get a free quote within 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Questions we hear most often
Can't find your question? Write or call — we'll give you a straight answer, no strings attached.
hello@meza.agency+48 889 009 55001Do I still need people on my team?
Yes. The assistant takes over the repetitive part of one specific role: nights, weekends, a busy line, the same question for the hundredth time. Decisions, exceptions and anything face to face stay with people. That's why we describe the role in a role card instead of promising the assistant will do everything.
02Who is the MEZA specialist and what do they do?
A member of our team who, within a package of 3, 6 or 10 hours a month, reviews the assistant's conversations, improves its scripts and knowledge base, deals with matters the assistant passed to us and prepares the report. They work remotely and follow our procedures. You give instructions about the role through one agreed channel, and decisions about your customers stay with you.
03Who pays for the AI models and call minutes?
You do, directly to the providers. The accounts are set up in your name, and we use access you can take back at any time. The quote includes an estimate of these costs for your volume.
04Do people know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. The assistant says so at the start of every conversation and after every transfer, and if someone asks whether they're talking to a person, it answers truthfully. In the EU this is a legal requirement under Article 50 of the AI Act from 2 August 2026. We apply the same rule in the UK.
05What if the assistant doesn't understand something?
It says so plainly, doesn't guess, and passes the matter to a person or takes a request for a call back. The specialist reviews these conversations first, so the script can be filled in.
06Will it work with my booking system or CRM?
That depends on the access your system gives outside companies. We check before we quote. If there's no connection, the assistant takes the request and your team confirms it in your own system.
07Are calls recorded?
Not by default. The assistant turns the call into text to handle the matter, and transcripts are deleted after an agreed period. We switch on audio recording only if you ask, with a separate notice for the caller. Rules on telling callers about recording differ between the UK, Ireland and other EU countries, so we agree the set-up with you. This isn't legal advice.
08Which languages can we talk to you in?
We speak Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian. In German we reply in writing.
