Websites, accessibility and AI for Swedish businesses
What Swedish small businesses are dealing with
For most Swedish small firms the question isn’t whether to be online. It’s who keeps it all running.
Accessibility. Sweden’s version of the European Accessibility Act, Lag (2023:254), has applied since 28 June 2025. Webshops and other consumer e-commerce services are in scope. Services provided by micro-enterprises are exempt, but larger firms face sanction fees from SEK 10,000 up to SEK 10 million. Trade media reported in October 2025 that PTS had started reviewing e-commerce accessibility in phases, beginning with large Swedish webshops.
E-invoices to the public sector. This isn’t new, but it still catches small suppliers out. Since 1 April 2019, every invoice to a municipality or government body has to be electronic and follow the European standard, sent in practice via Peppol. A carpenter or cleaning firm working for the local kommun needs this as much as a large supplier. There is no B2B e-invoicing mandate.
Bookings and calls. Many salons and clinics run on Bokadirekt. By its own figures, more than 15,000 businesses use it, and its price list (as of 13 October 2026) lists fixed monthly plans, not a fee per booking. It also offers an external receptionist service, which shows how common missed calls are.
How we work with Swedish companies
MEZA P.S.A. is registered in Sopot, Poland, just across the Baltic. The team works remotely on CET/CEST, the same time zone as Stockholm. We don’t have a Swedish office.
We speak Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian. In German we reply in writing. Your customers may expect Swedish, so we agree at the quote stage how customer-facing Swedish text is written and checked.
How a project runs:
- You send a short description of what you need.
- You get a free written quote within 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays, with a fixed price.
- Before you sign, we prepare a free concept: a mockup of 1–2 screens or a chatbot script with sample answers.
- Contract and VAT invoice (reverse charge for B2B, confirmed by your accountant), staged payments, 30 days of fixes after launch.
The project code is yours once paid for, and the domain and logins are in your name from day one. Where we process personal data for you, we sign a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR and host in the EU.
What we offer in Sweden
- Accessibility review and fixes (tillgänglighet). A WCAG audit of your webshop or booking flow, code fixes, and the information on how your service meets the accessibility requirements, drafted for your review. It’s technical work, not a legal opinion.
- Your salon’s own website. A fast mobile site with prices, gallery and a Bokadirekt booking button, plus a well-kept Google profile, so clients find you before they find the marketplace.
- AI receptionist. Answers routine calls and messages for clinics and salons, books or passes on requests, and tells people it’s an AI, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires from 2 August 2026.
- Peppol e-invoicing connection. Setting up your accounting or invoicing software, such as Fortnox, to send e-invoices to public-sector customers, and connecting it to your shop or booking system.
- Guest assistant for hotels. Answers in the languages your guests write in, with a clear handover to staff.
- Managed hosting. EU hosting, backups, updates and monitoring.
Local details we respect
- Prices shown the Swedish way: incl. moms for consumers, exkl. moms for businesses.
- Integrations with the tools already in place, such as Swish, Fortnox and Bokadirekt, rather than replacing them.
- No lock-in: the domain and logins are in your name, the project code is yours once paid for, and you can take the site elsewhere.
- F-skatt: we don’t have it, because all our work is done remotely from Poland. Your accountant has the final word on supplier checks.

Where we usually start
Questions we hear most often
Can't find your question? Write or call — we'll give you a straight answer, no strings attached.
[email protected]+48 889 009 55001Should I leave Bokadirekt and build my own booking system?
Usually not. According to its price list (as of 13 October 2026), Bokadirekt charges a fixed monthly plan rather than a fee per booking, and it already runs your calendar. What we add is what sits around it: your own website with the booking button, a better Google profile and help with the calls you can't take.
02Do you work in Swedish?
We speak Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian. In German we reply in writing. For Swedish copy on your site and the voice of an AI receptionist, we agree at the quote stage how the Swedish text is written and checked.
03Do you have F-skatt?
No. We're a Polish company with no office or staff in Sweden, and we do all the work remotely from Poland. According to Skatteverket, a buyer has to withhold tax from payments to a foreign company without F-skatt only for work carried out in Sweden. Your accountant confirms what applies to your purchase. We invoice B2B customers with VAT reverse-charged.
04We sell to a municipality. Can you help with e-invoices?
Yes. We connect your invoicing or accounting software, for example Fortnox, to send Peppol e-invoices, so invoices to the public sector stop bouncing back.
Promises we can actually keep.
