Websites, booking and AI for Irish businesses
Three deadlines Irish businesses are watching
Short-term letting. The government published the Short Term Letting and Tourism Bill on 6 October 2026. Under the Bill as published, anyone letting a room or a home for up to 21 nights will need a Fáilte Ireland registration number and must show it in every listing, and platforms will be expected to remove listings without one. The register is planned to open on 1 December 2026. The Bill hasn’t been passed yet, so details can still change, and Fáilte Ireland’s own page still says the register is not open.
Accessibility. The European Accessibility Act has applied in Ireland since 28 June 2025. The CCPC is the authority for e-commerce, so online shops and consumer booking sites are in scope. Micro-enterprises providing services are exempt under the Directive, which means the firms that need to act are mostly shops, hotels and booking sites with ten or more staff or larger turnover.
E-invoicing. Revenue’s timetable starts on 1 November 2028. Large corporates will issue structured e-invoices for domestic B2B sales and report them in real time, and from the same day every business has to be able to receive them. A PDF won’t count. Cross-border B2B follows in November 2029, and the full EU regime (ViDA) in July 2030.
Working with an EU agency from Ireland
MEZA P.S.A. is registered in Sopot, Poland, so we work inside the EU single market: the same GDPR and the same EU VAT rules for cross-border B2B services. The team works remotely on CET/CEST, one hour ahead of Dublin. We don’t have an Irish office.
Here’s how a project runs:
- You tell us what you need in a few lines, using the form or by email.
- Within 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays, you get a free written quote with scope, timeline and a fixed price.
- Before you sign the contract, we prepare a free concept: a mockup of 1–2 screens or a chatbot script with sample answers.
- You get a contract and a VAT invoice, pay in stages, and have 30 days of fixes after launch.
The domain and logins are in your name from day one, and the project code is yours once paid for. Where our work involves your customers’ personal data, we sign a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
What we build for Irish firms
- Booking sites for B&Bs, guesthouses and self-catering lets, with space for the registration number, clear house rules and direct booking alongside Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Accessibility audits with fixes for online shops and booking engines, tested against WCAG. It’s a technical audit and repair, not a legal certificate.
- AI assistants for hotels and clinics that answer routine questions by email, chat or phone, in English and any other languages your guests speak. They always tell people they’re talking to an AI, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires from 2 August 2026.
- Online booking and reminders for clinics and salons, connected to the calendar or practice system you already use.
- E-invoicing groundwork, such as connecting your shop or booking system to invoicing software that can send and receive structured invoices, ahead of the 2028 start.
- Managed hosting in the EU, with backups, updates and monitoring.
Local details we take care of
- Prices on your site in euro, with VAT shown the way Irish consumers expect.
- Cookie banners that ask for consent before any non-essential tracking.
- Booking flows that keep your registration number, cancellation terms and contact details visible on mobile.
- A written quote you can attach to a Grow Digital Voucher application, if your Local Enterprise Office confirms that the project and the supplier qualify.
This page is general information, not legal or tax advice. Check how the rules apply to your business with your accountant or solicitor.

Where we usually start
Questions we hear most often
Can't find your question? Write or call — we'll give you a straight answer, no strings attached.
[email protected]+48 889 009 55001Can you register my property on the short-term letting register?
No, registration is something you do yourself with Fáilte Ireland once the register opens. We make sure your own website and booking engine can show the registration number, and that your listings and site say the same thing.
02Can I use the Grow Digital Voucher to pay you?
Ask your Local Enterprise Office before you order anything: the application has to go in before you sign or pay for any part of the project. The voucher replaced the Trading Online Voucher in 2024. It does not cover bespoke website development, only new off-the-shelf software subscriptions and help setting them up. Your LEO decides whether the project and the supplier qualify. If it helps, we'll prepare a written quote for your application.
03Does the European Accessibility Act apply to my small business?
Micro-enterprises that provide services are generally exempt, but online shops and booking sites run by larger firms are covered. Check your own position with an adviser; we handle the technical audit and the fixes.
04Is there VAT on your invoices?
We're an EU company, so B2B invoices to Irish VAT-registered firms normally use the reverse charge. Your accountant confirms the treatment.
Promises we can actually keep.
