AI MVP

Who it’s for

Founders building a product around AI: an assistant, an agent or a voice conversation. Companies that want to add an AI feature to their product and first check that it works on their own data.

Demo first, then the MVP

With AI products the key question is whether it will work on real data at all. So we split the work into two stages, each with a fixed price:

  • Demo — typically 3–5 days. It runs on your sample data and answers real questions. Enough to judge the quality and make a decision. The demo carries a “DEMO — test data” label in the interface and in recordings. You can show it, for example to investors, but not as a working product.
  • MVP — typically 3–5 weeks. A product your customers can use, with conversation logs, cost limits and guardrails.

You can stop after the demo. In that case you only pay for the demo.

What we can build

  • An assistant that answers from your documents, knowledge base or product data.
  • An agent that gets things done: looks things up, fills in, sends and saves data in your other systems.
  • A voice bot that handles a phone conversation from a script and passes tricky cases to a person.

Quality and cost under control

  • A test question set we run every version against before it reaches users.
  • A report on answer quality and the cost per conversation.
  • Cost limits for the models and conversation logs, so you can see what’s going on.
  • Topic guardrails: the AI answers only within its remit and says plainly when it doesn’t know.

Model usage costs depend on traffic and aren’t part of the stage price. You pay them directly to the model provider, on an account registered in your name — we don’t re-invoice them. We go through this in the quote.

Transparency and the AI Act

As of 11.10.2026: since 2 August 2026, Art. 50 of the AI Act requires an AI system that talks to people to tell them they are dealing with an AI. We design your product so users know this from the first message or the first sentence of the call, and we don’t build anything that pretends to be human.

If the product processes personal data, we keep it to the minimum needed and agree with you where it is stored.

What we need from you

  • Data: documents, answers to common questions, or access to the systems the AI should work with.
  • Criteria: what a good answer looks like and what the AI must never say.
  • An account with the AI model provider in your name. You pay for model usage directly to the provider — we don’t re-invoice it.

What we don’t promise

  • That the AI will never make a mistake. We measure how often it does and limit the damage when it happens.
  • That it will replace people for everything. Difficult cases should go to a human.

01How is the demo different from the MVP?

The demo is a prototype on test data, labelled “DEMO — test data” — not a product. It runs on sample data and helps you judge whether the idea makes sense. The MVP is ready for real users: it has conversation logs, cost limits and guardrails, and it passes the test question set before launch.

02Can I stop after the demo?

Yes. The demo and the MVP are separate stages, each with a fixed price. If the demo shows the idea needs rethinking or parking, you only pay for the demo.

03How much does one AI conversation cost?

It depends on the model, the length of the conversation and the amount of data. That's why we measure it on the test question set and put the figure in the report before launch.

04Will users know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. Since 2 August 2026, Art. 50 of the AI Act requires it — and users should know anyway. It's made clear from the first message or the first sentence of the call.

05What do I get for free before signing?

If the project is a good fit, before signing we prepare a scenario diagram and 3–5 sample answers your product could give. It isn't a working bot — the demo is the first paid stage.

06Will my data be used to train models?

During the scenario stage we agree which data the AI may process and with which provider. Where the provider offers the option, we choose settings under which your data is not used for model training.

07Will I own the code?

Yes. The code we write for you becomes yours once the stage is paid for, confirmed in a signed record. Libraries we reuse across projects come with source code under a perpetual licence we can't withdraw: you can change them and pass them on to a buyer of your company. The domain, repository and accounts are set up in your name from day one.
