Is the bot really free?
Yes. Every user gets 30 free minutes of audio per day, with no subscriptions or payments. The limit resets daily.
Which languages does it recognize?
The bot runs on Whisper Large v3 Turbo, which detects the language automatically and supports dozens of languages, including English and Russian.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 20 MB per file — this is a hard limit of the Telegram Bot API for files a bot can download.
Does it work with YouTube?
Yes — paste a link to a regular video or a Short and the bot will transcribe its audio track. Live streams are not supported.
What about privacy?
Audio is processed in temporary files that are deleted immediately after transcription. The bot does not keep a history of your transcriptions — the result exists only in your chat.
How do I increase my daily limit?
Use /invite to get a personal link. Each friend who joins and makes their first transcription adds +5 minutes per day to your limit forever, up to 60 minutes per day.
Are there timestamps or SRT subtitles?
No. The bot returns plain continuous text (plus a .txt file). Timestamps, SRT/VTT subtitles and speaker labels are not supported.
Does it work in group chats?
No, the bot works in private chats only. Forward messages from a group to the bot to transcribe them.
